The 2011 Cricket Master Champions are John Liggett and Jeff Turner. Black Gator defeated The Perfect Storm 8-2 in a match that was closer than the final score would indicate. The finals match was played at the higher seeded home bar, the Irish Pub. Sandy and Chuck got of to a good start but lost their advantage and the end of the first leg. John and Jeff built on that opening rally and eventually earned a 4-0 lead in closely contested legs, before seeing TPS sweep 2 straight to cut the lead to 4-2. From there Black Gator swept the last four legs and earned the first ever Cricket Masters Championship. John went on to play in the regionals qualifiers in Savannah and Charlotte and earned his shot to compete for the ADO Cricket National Championships in Las Vegas, NV.

The  second annual GPDA City Championship crowned  it's 2010 Champions and the winner is,  John Liggett.  In 501, he defeated Chuck Hudson to win his first "Ron Beach Award". In the first ever finals between teammates, John overcame a slow start for a 3-1 victory. There were a couple of sloppy games along the way but most were around 21-23 darts per game and John had a 16 and an 18 dart game to secure the title. In marked the first time in GPDA history that the higher seed won a final.
In cricket, John, the defending champion locked up in a duel with top seed Brian Bemis for a second straight year, coming out on top with a 3-1 win and his second  " Doug Holicky Award". These games were intense and in the last 2 legs both players hits big marks time and time again. GPDA player Scott Reeves commented that it was like watching darts on TV where the big shots came one after another.
The match was played in the smoke free conditions of The Irish Pub for the second year in a row. The finals end the largest and longest singles competition in Greenville's history.
This years field was deeper and stronger and it provided for some outstanding games, stunning upsets and excellent darts throughout the playoffs.
